The first annual Tacoma E-business Day will be held on August 24th. To commemorate this day the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce will recognize the top ten high-tech firms in the Greater Tacoma Region.

According to Public Relations Director of Tacoma-based ContractQuest and Event Founder Jamie Chase, the E-business Day will kick off with an induction from the Mayor of Tacoma, Brian Ebersole. A mid-day showcase of local innovation will provide the public with an opportunity to interact with local high-tech companies at a community wide high-tech open house.

E-business Day will close with an awards banquet recognizing the top ten high-tech firms in Tacoma. Awards will be presented to high-tech companies representing local excellence and contribution to Pierce County’s high-tech led economic development.
