Comparison shopper mySimon Inc.
Monday inked a deal with Voila.com, the United States component of France
Telecom’s
Web portal, that will bring an e-commerce site targeting
European consumers.

A mySimon-powered shopping
site
featuring American products and merchants will be added to Voila.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with France Telecom to help Europeans shop in America over the Web,” said Josh Goldman, mySimon’s president
and chief executive officer.

“Voila’s large, international user base will now
have a great destination to access the value that is the American
marketplace.”

Voila.com targets European users, but relies on U.S.- based content.
The portal is part of the Voila European network, and is a continuation of its strategy to regionalize the Viola brand.

Just one year after its launch, Voila already boasts sites in Belgium,
Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
