Santa Clara, CA-based mySimon Inc. signed a distribution
agreement with Ameritech’s
yellowpages.net, an online directory
search and shopping resource.

The deal gives Ameritech’s customers a way to quickly shop for products and
compare prices from more than 1,000 merchants on the Web using mySimon’s
comparison shopping “bot.” Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

The bot will power Ameritech’s product search and comparison service in all
of mySimon’s categories, including sporting goods, electronics, computers,
fashion, movies, garden and others. mySimon searches Web merchants, auctions
and classified ad sites.

“mySimon’s Web shopping functionality adds breadth and scope to our shopping
center at a time of rapid growth in online purchasing. It’s a tremendous
value for our customers,” said Dori Bennett, general manager of Ameritech
Interactive Media.

Ameritech’s yellowpages.net offers coverage of more than 10 million U.S.
businesses, along with 13 shopping guides with information from more than 40
content partners.
