chinadotcom corp.’s hongkong.com announced Monday that it has taken a 30 percent stake in wireless
application services provider infoisLive.com Ltd.

The core business of infoisLive.com is to develop cross-media portals for
Internet content providers. The portals can run on WAP phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs)
and WebTV platforms.

infoislive.com has already teamed up with five of the six mobile operators
in Hong Kong – C&W HKT, Hutchison Telephone, New World, Peoples and

hongkong.com plans to launch portal-enabled WAP services for mobile users
this year based on the technology provided by infoislive.com.

According to company officials, potential applications can be based on
communication modes (mobile ICQ and e-mail), entertainment and e-commerce.

hongkong.com had approximately 3 million daily pageviews
as at the end of February, company officials said.

hongkong.com, a subsidiary of chinadotcom, has established partnerships with a number of Internet companies
including AOL, Netscape, 24/7 Asia, RealNetworks, Visitalk.com, TheBigstore,
Xinhua, Agence France-Presse, Reuters and eBay.
