InsWeb Inks Deals With Four Sites

Connecticut-based Internet insurance marketer InsWeb announced partnerships with four
Web sites, which will feature the company’s insurance services on their
respective sites.


The new InsWeb alliances are with:
TheGlobe.com; Stoneage; The San Diego Union-Tribune; and Zacks Investment
Research Inc.


Financial details were not disclosed.


With the new additions, InsWeb now has 20 online
partners, including Yahoo! and USA TODAY Online.


Users can access InsWeb’s insurance quoting capabilities and receive
multiple quotes from leading insurance carriers, the firm said.


Under terms of the agreement, TheGlobe.com’s community site and Zacks
Investment Research will offer InsWeb’s auto and term-life insurance
products, while the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Stoneage car site
will feature InsWeb’s auto insurance information.
