registration with the Securities and Exchange
Commission for an initial public offering.
The company did not specify how many shares would be offered or what price range it would seek for the shares. Lead underwriters for the IPO will be
U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Inc. and William
Blair & Co., LLC
internet.com publishes 53 Web sites, 32 e-mail newsletters, 54 online discussion forums, and 52
moderated e-mail discussion lists for Internet industry and Internet
technology professionals, Web developers and sophisticated Internet users.
The company was formed late last year after the merger of Mecklermedia
Corp. and Penton Media Corp.
