  • USWeb NASDAQ:USWB) agrees to acquire Gray Peak Technologies (GPT) in a stock deal valued between $80 million to $100 million. The GPT acquisition will allow USWeb to offer more network integration, network security, and voice over IP. • Open Market (NASDAQ:OMKT), which makes Web commerce software, inks a strategic alliance with PLATINUM technology (NASDAQ:PLAT), a software and service provider for global firms. The deal extends Open Market’s leading commerce software into Information Technology or IT departments that PLATINUM sells into.
