There are 11 new IPO offerings for the week of February 28, 2000, which
is more than double the 5 for the previous week.

A hot one should be Net.Genesis. Their software, net.Analysis, gathers
information on web-site visitors and correlates it with the company’s
other online and offline customer data. Their software and services solution
are principally designed for marketing initiatives and to increase the
e-commerce effectiveness of their Web sites.

Some of their customers include Barnes & Noble, Walt Disney, Bell
Atlantic and EarthWeb.

The lead underwriter is Chase and the proposed ticker symbol is NTGX.
The price range is $11 to $13.

For those of you who have a Palm, and I do too, the company is coming
out with a 23 million share offering in the $14 to $16 range. Actually,
expect this to be the hottest IPO of the week. So, don’t be surprised when the
price range is cranked-up.

Their Palm VII allows users to send and receive data on the Internet.
This device received the PC Computing Most Valuable Product award in 1999 for “Best Pocket PC.”

Reportedly, Palm had in 1998 approximately 68% market share of the
worldwide personal companion handheld devices market. Goldman, Sachs is the lead underwriter. The proposed ticker symbol is an
unsurprising PALM.

Competition for registering Internet domain names is heating up.
Register.com has a track record in registering domain names in the .com,
.net and .org
domains worldwide. For July through September 1999, the company registered
about 10 percent of all new names in these domains, or approximately 159,000 registrations.
Their chief competition is Network Solutions Inc. (NSOL)

Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown is the chief underwriter. The 5 million
share offering is in the $15 to $17 range. The proposed ticker symbol is RCOM.

Hopefully, the proposed ticker symbol of MONE will not jinx the
Matrixone offering of 5 million shares.

They offer business collaboration software which ties together company
facilities at various local and global facilities. This Internet
platform can also be used with customers, suppliers and other business partners.

Goldman, Sach is the lead underwriter. The price range is $12 to $14.
