J.D. Edwards Partners with Johnson & Johnson

[Toronto, CANADA] J.D. Edwards & Company has signed a
software license agreement with Johnson & Johnson Services, a Johnson
& Johnson company.

The agreement involves J.D. Edwards’ collaborative OneWorld Xe
solution to be used in the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Group of
Johnson & Johnson.

The Johnson & Johnson implementation will encompass multiple
operating companies located in every major region of the world.

With the J.D. Edwards’ OneWorld Xe, Johnson & Johnson will have the
ability to standardize its various supply chain operations on a
single, integrated and collaborative solution.

“With our OneWorld Xe solution Johnson & Johnson’s Medical
Devices and Diagnostics Group will receive an open and flexible
solution that meets the unique needs of the various operations around
the world,” said Kevin Antram, J.D. Edwards Canada vice president and
general manager.

“The openness of the OneWorld Xe product will help enable the Group’s
operating companies to effectively communicate with each other across
geographic regions, in a collaborative manner,” he said.

Founded in 1977, J.D. Edwards Canada is headquartered in Toronto and
employs more than 160 people across Canada with regional sales and
services offices in Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Its open solutions give organizations the freedom to choose how they
assemble their internal applications and how they collaborate with
partners and customers across the supply chain to increase
competitive advantage.
