Manulife Financial
Group Benefits
has launched a new site to serve its plan members across Canada.

Manulife will provide plan members with online access to their health and dental benefit
and claims information. Manulife said it spent more than a year developing its Plan
Member Secure Site.

“Our new Plan Member Secure Site supplements the service that our customer
service representatives and successful interactive voice response system
provide during regular business hours,” said Steve Knapp, Manulife’s Product
Director, Group Marketing.

“Plan members with registered access to the site can obtain information
similar to that available through Manulife Group Benefits’ Customer Service
Centre. They can find out about the status of their claim checks and view
information about their health and dental coverage.”

The new security infrastructure was designed to protect
sensitive plan member data. An embedded e-mail feature has also been
included in the site to allow registered plan members to send queries
directly to Manulife’s customer
service centre.

Canadian-based Manulife Financial provides financial protection products and
investment management services to individuals, families, businesses and
groups in selected international markets.
