MSNBC.com Tuesday cut a deal with CrossMedia Services, a provider of online in-store sales and promotions services, under which MSNBC.com will give consumers access to CrossMedia’s information on local sales and promotions from more than 300 brand name stores.

MSNBC.com will make CrossMedia’s promotions available to consumers through its affiliate network.

MSNBC.com users can now conveniently find thousands of daily sales and promotions that are taking place at their favorite local stores,” said Brian Hand, chief executive officer and founder of CrossMedia. “In turn, our retail partners will benefit from the expanded distribution of their promotions to millions of savvy MSNBC.com shoppers.”
