myGO.com Augments Portal

Jan 6, 1999

Fresh-faced portal myGO.com Wednesday added a variety of
services to its site, including e-mail and homepage hosting.

myGo.com is new on the portal scene, created in December 1998. It features
links to more than 100 sites in categories ranging from business and
computers to recreation, music and health.

Recent enhancements include a search engine designed to simultaneously
integrate results from a variety of search engines including Excite, Infoseek and AltaVista.
The site also offers free Web-based e-mail and a free utility for homepage
building.

In the works is an online auction site modeled after Yahoo! Auctions, said
Rusty Sandhu, myGo.com president.

“From the start, the goal of myGO.com has been to serve as a gateway to the
Internet, offering users quick access to essential information in a
streamlined manner,” Sandhu said.

“The implementation of these new features will add even greater
functionality to the myGO site.”
