[Sydney, AUSTRALIA] Australia portal ninemsn has announced an alliance with account aggregation
technology provider Parkers’ Edge, to launch a new service called Account
Master.

According to ninemsn, the launch of this service makes them the first major
portal to offer consumers single sign-on access to all online banking
accounts, broking accounts, airline loyalty programs and e-mail.

Ninemsn’s chief executive officer Steve Vamos said the service would be
available on ninemsn from early next year. “We are excited to pioneer
Account Master to enhance our customer experience by allowing them to access
all of their financial and accounting information in one place,” he
said.

Parkers’ Edge said the capacity to provide consumers with the ability to
consolidate data from multiple Web sites was a major leap forward for the
Australian marketplace.

“Customers can manage their interest more effectively, and we believe this
service is a huge competitive advantage for ninemsn,” said chief executive
officer Janet Parker.

Parkers’ Edge is the creator and owner of the nettposition data aggregation
service operated out of the company’s Centurion Data Centre in Sydney. The
company has also implemented nine Internet banking systems for customers
including the Commonwealth Bank, ANZ and BankWest.
