OnHealth.com in Content Deals With Infoseek, Others

In conjunction with its relaunch today, OnHealth Network Company announced that
Infoseek,
MindSpring, Planet Direct and Comcast Online Communications signed agreements to feature OnHealth’s content within their services.


OnHealth.com will provide tailored content including the OnHealth Personal Health Tracker, Daily News Briefs, health tips, consumer-based polls, In-Depth Reports, columns, resource area links and City Health Guides to the four sites, the company said.


Financial details were not disclosed.


“It’s gratifying to us that these partners recognize the value of
OnHealth’s content for consumers,” said Rebecca Farwell,
editor-in-chief, OnHealth.com. “Our aim is to arm people with the
information and tools they need to make better decisions about their
health, and these alliances go a long way toward getting that
information out to the people who need it.”


onHealth.com said it will act as a primary health content partner for Infoseek, MindSpring and Comcast, and will be a featured health
content partner for Planet Direct.
