Onyx Unveils Partner Portal 3.0

Mar 27, 2002

Bellevue, Wash.-based Onyx Software Corp. Wednesday announced the general availability of Onyx Partner Portal (OPP) 3.0, it’s Web-based partner relationship management (PRM) solution.

Onyx said OPP 3.0, which is built on XML standards to help it integrate with front- and back-office systems — integrates fully with the rest of the Onyx CRM platform. OPP is intended for organizations that depend on indirect channels to deliver their products and services to market. The company said a key feature of the product is its permission-based security model for partner profile management, lead distribution, and service and support.

“At Onyx, we’ve always focused on our customers’ success as a measure of our own success, as well as a guide for how we build our technology,” said Brent Frei, Onyx chief executive officer and co-founder. “Onyx Partner Portal 3.0 can help companies quickly recruit, manage and monitor their partner relationships, all with an eye toward an improved bottom line.”
