Seattle-based Panicware Inc. Wednesday unveiled Pop-Up Stopper 2.6, a free product that allows users to control or stop pop-up and pop-under windows.

Pop-Up Stopper 2.6 doesn’t use proxy adjustments or filters, and it doesn’t block banner advertisements. The new version also allows users to open new browser windows without holding the CTRL key. It supports Netscape 4.x and Internet Explorer 6.x browsers.

The product is available for download and is supported by Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and ME.
