Seattle.internet.com has learned that Q-Research, a local digital imaging technology company, has changed its name to Qbeo. The company, based just east of Seattle in suburban North Bend, has also redesigned their website.

According to Qbeo CEO Del Clark, the recent changes reflect a company-wide move towards consumer-friendliness.
“The company’s new name, logo, and website are much more consumer-oriented than before,” says Clark.

“Beo is Latin for ‘enrich’ or ‘make happy’ — exactly what we hope our imaging technology does for people by recapturing the special moments in their lives.”

Qbeo, founded in 1998, creates imaging applications for PC’s, and has recently started offering technology to digital video and the internet.
