Quote.com Personalizes Financial Services

Financial information site Quote.com Thursday launched
My.Quote.com, enabling investors to tailor investment resources to their individual needs.

Following the personalization trend found throughout the Internet industry, My.Quote.com allows investors to choose customizable tools in categories including quotes, streaming charts, stock portfolios, real-time news, hot lists, market research and page layouts. The free service also features an IPO center that delivers analysis and research for upcoming and recent IPOs.

“My.Quote.com provides investors with the tools to develop their own financial information homepage,”
said Stan Hjartberg, Quote.com’s director of market information.

“Investors shouldn’t be required to wade through pages of data to find out how their portfolio is performing or what’s making news in the markets. With My.Quote.com, investors can quickly and easily access the information that is important to them.”

The company Thursday also debuted streaming LiveCharts and logo-based stock tickers on My.Quote.com, which can run while users work on other applications. All the new features are designed to ease use for Quote.com subscribers, said Robert Honeycutt, Quote.com’s president and chief executive officer.

“My.Quote.com is another demonstration of our commitment to provide
investors with quality and timely
information to gain greater power and control over their investments,” he said.
