Radiant Communications, Inc., one of western Canada’s largest Internet services for businesses, has taken its first step into the US market by opening an office in Seattle, Washington serving the Pacific Northwest.

The Vancouver-based company offers a range of Internet products and services designed for small and mid-size businesses across North America.

Patrick Smith will lead the northwest expansion. Most recently, Smith served as both Director of Technology and General Manager for Convergent Communications.

Prior to this, Smith was in management with Big Planet, GTE Communications Corporation, and later, Verizon.

The expansion into their Lynwood offices won’t be a shock to Smith, who is a native of the Pacific Northwest, born and raised in Seattle.
