Santa Clara, California-based SiteSmith, Inc., a provider of Internet infrastructure managed services, has recently opened an office in Seattle.

The company, which has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN), also announced its plans to open four additional offices by year’s end to support its growing customer base of Global 2000 companies including Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Brooks Brothers, VERITAS Software and VA Linux Systems. This will bring SiteSmith’s global presence to fifteen offices worldwide.

“We are aggressively expanding our global footprint to meet the demand for SiteSmith’s Internet infrastructure managed services,” says Mark Spagnolo, chief executive officer of SiteSmith. “Our automated yet flexible solution is particularly appealing to Global 2000 companies, because it can be adopted at any point in their Internet business development.”
