New York-based domain name registrar Register.com has recently added .cc registration services to its site. Register.com customers can now register names in real time with the .cc extension.
In addition, register.com customers can also obtain customized email accounts at their new .cc domain.
The new .cc service comes as a result of an alliance formed between registrar.com and Seattle-based eNIC Corporation. eNIC is the global registry for .cc domain names. The .cc represents the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
