Partners With Alta Vista, a network of portals targeting the global Chinese community, and search engine AltaVista have signed a worldwide agreement to provide users with faster and more comprehensive Internet search services.

Scheduled to launch on June 14, the Chinese portal will integrate AltaVista’s search engine with its existing search technology and Web directory. believes that the result will enable its users to enhance
their search capabilities in Chinese and English.
