news and information to theglobe.com’s reported 1.7 million members.

Through this new alliance, SonicNet’s Music News of the World will become

“We view theglobe.com as a key distribution partner for our expansion of
music content,” said Nicholas Butterworth, president of SonicNet. “The
partnership of two such distinct and trusted brands provides users with an
unbelievable amount of information at the touch of a button.”

“This partnership will be one of the most elegant co-branded executions on
the Web today,” stated Todd Krizelman, CEO, theglobe.com. “The fact that
SonicNet selected our site as their first distribution channel reinforces the
power of theglobe.com’s loyal and active community.”
