SRA Lands $328M IT Deal With Government

SRA Internationalwill provide a broad range of enterprise-wide IT services to support the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) technology infrastructure under a $328 million, six-year contract awarded by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM).


USAID is an independent federal agency that provides economic, development and humanitarian assistance to nations throughout the world in support of U.S. foreign policy. Under the Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprise-wide (PRIME 2.2) contract, SRA will help manage, modernize and maintain the USAID IT program.


The contract will consolidate operations and implement a “comprehensive approach” to the acquisition, integration, life cycle management, and operation of the agency’s IT resources. The Fairfax, Va.-based SRA services will include project management; network engineering, management and security; worldwide data and voice communications; software and application development; customer relationship management and other user services; and analysis and implementation of emerging technologies.


FEDSIM is a program under the GSA Federal Technology Service providing over $1 billion per year in large-scale systems integration support to other federal agencies. Millennia is a $25 billion multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract offering multi-year IT services to federal agencies worldwide.
