SRA Wins $105M GSA Contract

SRA International, the Fairfax, Va.-based government contractor, has won a six year, $105 million task order from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide enterprise-wide network engineering and management services to support the GAO’s IT infrastructure. Previously, SRA provided similar support to the GAO through a now-completed task order that the company has managed since 1998.

GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), a program of the Federal Technology Service (FTS), awarded the task order that calls for SRA to provide security engineering, intrusion detection, continuity-of-operations planning, enterprise architecture, software engineering, and data network infrastructure management as well as continue on-site services that include maintaining the local area and wide area network operation and interfaces.

FEDSIM offers a wide range of support for planning, developing, acquiring, implementing, maintaining, and managing IT resources and support services. Managing over $1.4 billion in new IT acquisitions in 2002, FEDSIM develops solutions to government IT problems and satisfying requirements for specific IT products and services.

Subcontractors on the award include NCI Information Systems of McLean, Va., Peace Technology of Laurel, Md., PEC Solutions of Fairfax, Va., RGB Technology of Reston, Va., Beyond Print of Germantown, Md., Harris Associates of Fairfield, Pa., and Business Edge of Vienna, Va.

SRA provides information technology services and solutions to clients in national security, health care and public health, and civil government.
