Seattle.internet.com has learned that trophies2go.com, a trophy e-commerce site was launched just two weeks ago.
The trophy dotcom is the brainchild of Issaquah Trophy’s Jeff Anderson who wanted to bring online his vision of providing people who work hard behind the scenes the recognition they deserve.
Anderson’s entrepreneurial talent goes back to when he was a kid. When he was 13 he won $5000 in a Pepsi contest and invested the money in silver and gold.
Looks like his investment in trophies2go.com is already paying off. According to trophies2go.com’s Rod Alex, orders are already coming in from across the nation and even Japan. “We’ve been stepping up production,” says Alex who among other things is also in charge of the company’s operations.
According to Alex, the company has been receiving feedback that the site is very easy to use. Users can choose from a variety of trophy samples, submit their company logo and pay online. The trophies are then shipped within 3 working days.
Even Bellevue-based CobWeb, the E-commerce application provider that developed the website, has given trophies2go.com a try. “They ordered a bunch of trophies for their recent company golf tournament,” says Alex.
