Interchange introduced its .SUPPLY time management solution this week through the graces of Compaq, as part of its showcase of Value Chain Alliance (VCA) products.

Compaq dedicated its space at this week’s Comdex in Brazil to the VCA, so that VCA member companies could present solutions for different segments.

Interchange presented its .SUPPLY solution, which optimizes time management for retailers and manufacturers, allowing the partners to organize warehouses and billing and payment sectors.

The solution allows the retailer to use the Internet to send orders to manufacturers, and manufacturers receive the request in EDI (Edifact) format for simplified processing. The Interchange technology reduces the cost for both the retailer and the manufacturer.

Cisco, Compaq, Interchange, Microsoft and Módulo created the VCA
last March with the goal of providing
e-commerce solutions that reduce implementation time in the production
chain by using resources available in the Internet.
