The XMLFund, a Bellevue-based XML technology investment fund, has made a $4 million investment in California-based Intalio, the developer of the first XML-based integrated business process management system software solution.

Intalio’s flagship software, Intalio n3, will allow companies to embrace untapped eBusiness opportunities by integrating, automating and managing a new range of business processes including corporate procurement, demand-chain/supply-chain integration and enterprise relationship management.

“The XML based Business Process category is one of the hottest enterprise software infrastructure markets and Intalio n3 will help customers achieve greater levels of efficiency, create additional revenue opportunities, and enter new markets,” says Dave Pool, who founded the XMLFund in 1999 to foster the growth of promising companies that use XML technology.
