Yahoo! Adds Asian Sites

Yahoo! Inc.
Wednesday launched three new sites in Asia, targeting Web users in
Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

, Yahoo! Taiwan and Yahoo! Hong Kong reinforces its
commitment to the region and recognition of the Internet’s growth in Asia.

“By expanding our offerings in Asia, we’re able to deliver highly-targeted

addition, having a strong presence on the ground in Asia allows us to run
our business locally and better service the needs of users, partners and
clients in the region.

The new Asian sites brings the total number of Yahoo! properties in the
region to eight and 18 worldwide. They include sites for Japan, Korea,
China, Australia and New Zealand as well as an English-language guide for
Southeast Asia.

regional programming, the new guides also link directly to the original
