Yahoo! France launched a French version of
Yahoo!’s popular online auctions service, providing a marketplace for French-speaking buyers and
sellers around the world.

All auctions are free — there are no commissions or listing fees.

“By broadening our commerce offerings across our 19 world properties, Yahoo!
continues to bring together one of the largest online global communities of
active buyers and sellers,” said Mark Inkster, director of international
operations at Yahoo!.

Users can buy and sell items in several different currencies, including
French francs, Swiss francs, German marks, U.S. dollars and Euro dollars.
