Adauction.com Forms Print, Broadcast Media Divisions

Moving to expand its business model into the off-line world, San
Francisco-based Adauction.com formed two new
divisions–Print Media and Broadcast Media–and opened offices in New York
and Atlanta.

The company hired Andrew McColough as general manager and vice president of
print media sales, who will manage the New York office, and Steven Pechman,
general manager and vice president of broadcast media sales, who will
supervise its Atlanta office.

Adauction.com also hired Michael Teculsky as senior director of agency
development, a newly created position. All three executives will report to
Neil Cohen, who was recently promoted to senior vice president of business
affairs.

“These executives lead our efforts to extend our business model to become the
online exchange for all media,” Cohen said.

McColough spent the last 10 years launching and managing magazine and book
divisions for Time Inc. Magazines. He has also held business manager
positions with Fortune and Life magazines. Most recently, he
was publisher of
Time Inc.’s This Old House Books.

Pechman was most recently vice president and general sales manager for FOX
Sports South and has worked at Turner Broadcasting and Cox Communication.

Tekulsky has held senior management positions at various ad agencies over the
past 12 years, including Western International Media Corp., Foote, Cone &
Belding and Saatchi & Saatchi . At Adauction.com, he is charged with building
the company’s relationships with large agencies to integrate traditional and
new media buys. Previously, he was a media business manager for USWeb/CKS.

Adauction.com operates an ad space marketplace featuring more than 160
premium sites in 18 content categories. More than 2,200 media buyers are
registered to
purchase inventory through the site.
