Audiohighway.com, a portal for
audio content, on Tuesday forged marketing deals with Yahoo! and RealNetworks, in a push to drive traffic to
its site.

The deals, financial details of which were not disclosed, call for
audiohighway.com (AHWY)
to get aggressive advertising placement on RealNetworks (RNWK)
and Yahoo! (YHOO)
, beginning this month and continuing through the end of the year.

The effort is aimed at introducing audiohighway.com to potential new users.
The Yahoo! deal will expose a huge number of new people to the service,
while the RealNetworks agreement puts audiohighway.com in front of people
interested in online audio and video.

“These campaigns are part of audiohighway.com’s commitment to become the
Web’s most popular place to listen online,” said Jay Adams, vice president
of business development at audiohighway.com.

“We expect the campaigns will help make audiohighway.com one of the most
highly visited Web sites for online listening during the term of the
campaigns.”

Visitors to audiohighway.com can access a variety of audio content —
music, audiobooks, news, entertainment, education and information — in
several different formats.
