Business-to-business Internet ad network B2Bworks inked a deal with Business News
Publishing Co. (BNP) on Thursday to bring more than 20 new trade publishing
sites into its network of vertical sites.

“This partnership is exciting because it symbolizes B2BWorks’ network in its
purest form,” said Bill Furlong, B2BWorks’ president and chief executive
officer.

“Professionals in niche industries such as air conditioning, engineering or
chemical processing are now, more than ever, accessing the Web extensions of
their industry trade publications for business information on a daily basis.

The deal adds deep vertical sites in more than 50 industries to the B2BWorks
network, including Air Conditioning,
Heating & Refrigeration News
and Adhesives & Sealants Industry Online.

B2BWorks’ strategy is to put together niche vertical categories in different
industries — such as air conditioning, ventilation, and heating — and sell
ads, which are high-priced because of their high level of targeting.
B2BWorks also provides ad serving and management.

The company currently delivers around 75 million page views and reaches more
than 17 million unique visitors monthly through its network of 325 site
affiliates.
