Burlington, MA-based Wep rep firm BURST! said it recorded a 258 percent increase
in ad revenue over the previous year and turned a profit in 1998, after its
third full year of business.

The privately held company said it has grown to represent more than 2,500
unique, specialty-content Web sites and is recording a combined 300 million
monthly advertising impressions.

“We believe these numbers validate
our unique business model of being the only firm to represent the creative and
business interests of the specialty-content Web publishers,” said Jarvis Coffin, co-founder and CEO of BURST!. “We embrace their
diversity, and believe they are the truest definition of this unique medium,
the Internet.”
