Swedish ESD firm BUYONET, an international online software retailer, signed a
marketing and advertising agreement with Yahoo!
Under terms of the agreement, BUYONET will advertise its online retail store
within targeted areas of the Yahoo! network of properties and main directory.
It will offer banner ads within relevant areas of the community site,
including the chat area and My Yahoo! Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Working with Yahoo! is an important step toward branding the BUYONET name in
the United States,” Freddy Tengberg, president and co-founder of BUYONET,
said in a statement. “We believe this agreement puts us immediately on the map
and supports our marketing goal to provide consumers with convenient access to
software.”
The company calls its ESD products “Loadware.”
