CareerPath.com added five new newspaper affiliates to its classified ad roster.
Employment classifieds from the Burlington Free Press, Montgomery Advertiser,
St. Cloud Times, The Times (Shreveport, LA), Post & Courier (Charleston, SC)
and the Desert Sun (Palm Springs) can now be accessed on CareerPath.com.
More than 70 newspapers already are on board, including the Boston Globe,
Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, the New York Times and the Washington
Post.
The site’s database of job ads is augmented by Resume Connection, which is designed to allow
job seekers to post resumes online so prospective employers can search for them.
Other features include: CareerPathEXTRA, which allows employers’ job listings
from their corporate Web sites to be accessed from CareerPath.com; Employer
Profiles, which provides a full-page description of an employer’s business, a
link to their corporate homepages, and a dynamic link to all the employer’s
job listings in the jobs database; and Career Resources drawn from affiliated
newspapers and other sources to assist and inform job seekers, employers and
human resources professionals.
