CDnow Extends Grammy Promotion to Radio Ads

CDnow Inc. in Jenkintown, PA launched a
new March promotion following its successful Grammy promotion, which
generated record traffic and orders. Consumers may purchase music with
savings of up to 30% through March.


CDnow said it will support the storewide promotion with increased marketing
expenditures, including a significant radio advertising campaign. Spending
was not disclosed.


Founded by twin brothers Jason and Matthew Olim in 1994, CDnow offers more
than 250,000 music-related items and claims to be five times the size of an
average record store.
