Central Media Incorporated (CMI), a business-to-business firm serving the
broadcast, advertising and production industries, on Tuesday tapped DDB Seattle as the agency of record for
its Web-based radio spot delivery service, SpotTaxi.com.
DDB Seattle will help CMI develop corporate branding and advertising
strategies for SpotTaxi.com. It’ll also develop creative and perform media
placement.
“CMI’s vision is what attracted us initially,” said DDB’s chief executive
officer Ron Elgin.
“We share their enthusiasm for streamlining the workflow via the Web, and
we look forward to growing with them. SpotTaxi.com has already added
efficiencies to our radio distribution and approval process at DDB Seattle.”
The first advertisements for SpotTaxi.com are scheduled to appear in the
second quarter of 2000. The company will launch its services nationally at
the National Association of Broadcasters
convention in April.
