Coupon Network Partners With QuikPages

Apr 3, 1998

Online coupon network H.O.T! Coupons in Garden Grove, CA said
it entered a partnership with The QuikPages that will result in value-
added services for the customers of both companies.

Under the agreement, H.O.T! Coupons advertisers will have access to discounted
services from The QuikPages, a developer and promoter of business Web sites.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

H.O.T! Coupons, in association with Money Mailer, will promote The QuikPages
“Premium Plus Web Site” product throughout Money Mailer’s nationwide system
of franchises, while The QuikPages offers H.O.T! Coupons’ service to its
roster of local business customers.

In addition, The QuikPages will have the ability to use H.O.T! Coupons’
software to create coupons that will be made available on the H.O.T!
Coupons Web site. H.O.T! Coupons said it will test this program with its
franchisees in Phoenix, AZ, beginning in April 1998. A nationwide roll-out is
expected to begin in June 1998.

“Our No. 1 goal is to provide our advertisers with a full spectrum of value-
added, online services that will make it easy and cost-effective for them to
market themselves on the Internet,” said Steve Blyth, senior vice president
of operations for H.O.T! Coupons.

“Through our partnership with The QuikPages, our advertisers–primarily
local businesses that, in many cases, compete for customers against larger
companies with deeper pockets–now can take advantage of technology that
traditionally only has been available to large corporations.”

“This is a partnership between two companies that share the same goal of
offering quality, cost-effective Web marketing services to local businesses,”
said John Dennis, CEO at The QuikPages.

H.O.T! Coupons is an affiliate of Money Mailer, which mails more than 3
billion coupons from 30,000 advertisers to 100 million households each year.
