Information technology company EarthWeb on Wednesday forged an
agreement with Yahoo! that calls for its
content and job listings to be placed in the portal’s career section.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

For EarthWeb, the alliance is a means of reaching the mass audience that
Yahoo! attracts, and perhaps luring some of those people to its own offering.

Under the terms of the agreement, EarthWeb (EWBX) will provide Yahoo! Careers with information
technology-related content, branded dice.com job listings, a salary tracker and
articles.

“Our agreement with Yahoo! (YHOO) will enable us to extend EarthWeb’s reach and
branded content into an enormous online community that totals millions of
users and delivers a significant audience of prospective customers and
decision-makers,” said Bill Gollan, senior vice president at EarthWeb.
