Online ad seller Interep Interactive made Joe Iuliano its senior Los Angeles ad sales account executive. The newly-created position focuses on the entertainment industry. Iuliano was VP of business development for MP3.com, later acquired by Vivendi Universal. He left that company when his unit stopped accepting ads last August.

“Joe’s experience in the Southern California market will be a great addition to our team, expanding our reach nationally and to high-level marketing executives on the client side,” said senior VP of Sales Tim Mahlman.

Christine McNicholas has joined online media and marketing firm CoolSavings as senior VP of retail partnerships. She was most recently VP of sales and marketing in Catalina Marketing’s retail division, and she held several marketing roles at Nestle.

“She has an understanding of the unique issues that concern retailers,” commented CoolSavings President and CEO Matthew Moog.

Branding agency ATTIK launched two interactive applications promoting client Toyota’s new Scion marque. Its “Graffiti Tool” allows users to spray paint on a choice of urban canvases using tools of the urban defacer’s trade. A “Music Mixer” lets site visitors create customized tunes from a palette of sound samples.

“ATTIK’s creativity really shines through in these new applications, as well as their in-depth understanding of our target market,” said Adrian Si, Scion’s interactive manager.

Mobile marketing firm Enpocket tapped former Bluestreak exec Paul Ruck as its new VP of sales. At Bluestreak, Ruck was executive director of sales. Earlier, he served stints as VP of sales at Engage and group advertising director at Miller Freeman. Enpocket said Ruck’s hire would facilitate the company’s expansion into the U.S. market.
