Ericka Nelson has joined interactive marketing agency Optiem as a senior account executive. Prior to joining Optiem, Nelson held a number of project management positions with several brand identity and design firms in the Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas, most recently at Hanson Dodge.

She will work with Optiem clients Moen, Proforma, The City Club and Sherwin-Williams.

Messaging and marketing infrastructure firm Sendmail has named J.F. Sullivan as director of product management and Kevin Leusing as director of professional services.

Sullivan last served as group product marketing manager at Netscape Communications, where he established the company’s messaging server business. He was also served with Lotus Notes and cc:Mail as a product manager for Internet connectivity products.

Leusing joins from IBM Global Services, where he was principal of e-business services and segment manager of e-mail messaging in South America.

The company has also added two non-executive directors to its board: Steve Smith, advisory director of Broadview International; and Tom Kelly, president and CEO of BlueStar Solutions.
