The New York Times Company’s Worcester Telegram & Gazette has begun implementation of Engage’s newspaper industry solution. The package is designed to automate a newspaper’s entire ad production process, providing management functions such as digital ad workflow, asset management, tracking and online approvals. Engage’s deal with the Telegram & Gazette follows its deployment of similar automation tools for The Boston Globe, another property of The New York Times Company .

High Road Communications has hired Nathalie Bergeron as senior consultant to its Montreal office. In addition to her public relations experience, Bergeron has worked as a freelance journalist and was an editor for a French-language Web site.

“Nathalie’s experience and contacts within Quebec’s strong technology sector make her a valuable part of our team,” said Mia Wedgbury, senior partner at High Road. “By leveraging the market expertise she brings, High Road strengthens its Quebec presence.”

NewWorldIQ, a developer of Web marketing automation tools, has promoted Mischelle Weedman-Davis to vice president of marketing communications.

Davis was director of North American marketing for NewWorldCommerce before that company’s recent merger with IQ Commerce. Earlier in her career, she served as director of product marketing at Qpass and held marketing posts at Authentic8, Primus Knowledge Systems and Wall Data. In her post-merger role, Davis will oversee all global marketing and lead generation efforts for NewWorldIQ and supervise marketing teams in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland.
