Forbes.com has promoted Janett Haas from account manager to East Coast sales director and has hired Richard Kosinski as regional sales manager for the New York area.


Haas joined Forbes.com as account manager in April 2002 after holding positions with Ziff Davis Media, IDG and CMP. Kosinski’s last role was that of VP of new sales for CNET Networks, prior to which he was ad director for The Asian Wall Street Journal, based in Hong Kong.

24/7 Real Media has signed FOX News to its Open AdStream ad serving roster.


“FOXNews.com offers advertisers a terrific opportunity to partner with the online news destination associated with [Fox News],” said Tom Capato, 24/7 Real Media’s senior vice president of technology sales. “We are delighted we have signed FOX News to help maximize FOXNews.com’s ad revenue potential through Open AdStream’s ability to finely target visitors to the site.”

Advertising.com has picked up three clients for its ACE Serve ad delivery and management technology. New ACE Serve technology licensees include content Web sites Maps.com and Dictionary.com and advertising agency Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners, which will employ ACE Serve on behalf of its clients.

Interactive agency Advertisement Banners.com has hired Roy Luna as chief financial officer. Luna most recently held CFO posts at SSP Solutions and CareLine. Additional experience includes senior financial management, accounting and controller positions at LifeFleet, Affiliated Medical Enterprises and Ernst & Young.

Online marketer NewGate Internet has launched search engine optimization campaigns for PETCO, Hammacher Schlemmer, Illuminations, Legalmatch.com and Ebates.


NewGate launched its search marketing department in 1996 and has established partnerships with AOL, Ask Jeeves, Google, Inktomi, Looksmart, MSN, and Yahoo.

E-mail marketing firm CheetahMail has launched a U.K. subsidiary with offices in Weybridge, England. CheetahMail U.K. is headed by CEO Emma Hammersley, COO Denis Sheehan and CTO Jude Hudson, and four new employees have been hired.

Interevco has hired Susana Williams as Western sales manager, Kingsley Lew as NY Account Manager, and Doron Wesly as director of marketing. Williams has held ad sales management posts with ValueClick and Classmates Online. Wesly’s Web marketing experience includes stints at Hotbar.com and PlaySys.com.
