Interactive marketer POPstick has hired four to its executive team. Joining the company are Mark Kriegsman as chief technology officer; David Wagner as executive vice president of operations; John Monsarrat as vice president of corporate development; and Joseph Burke as vice president of sales.

“POPstick has grown steadily over the past two years, and today I am pleased to announce that our increasing revenues and bottom-line profits have enabled us to hire a blue-chip management team,” said Daniel Kastner, the company’s founder and CEO. “Each of POPstick’s new senior executives has demonstrated an ability to identify a business need, innovate a high-value solution, build a successful business, and achieve market leadership.”

POPstick has aggressive development goals, the topmost of which is to introduce a rich media toolkit for agencies.

Mara Shelby has left her position as the chief research officer at Greenfield Online to join Target Research Group as senior vice president. Known best for her work in Internet research while at Greefield, Shelby’s stated reason for hiring on with Target is that the firm offers its clients a multi-channel approach.

“Target allows me to offer my clients the full gamut of research options,” she said. “While I’m sure some of you think of me as the ‘Queen of Internet Research,’ I want to be able to offer you the best research solution – regardless of delivery system.”

Toronto-based Mansfield Communications has opened an office in New York, marking its first expansion into the United States market. Led by Nancy Tamosaitis, the new office launches with several clients, including Lavalife, a provider of technology-based services for singles; Axxess Business Services, a network of small business counseling centers located in major metropolitan areas; Lorus Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company; and Brascan Corporation, a firm which offers office and residential properties and financial services.

Nancy Tamosaitis, a native New Yorker, is a 15-year PR veteran who has worked at several mid-sized and global PR agencies and for a wide variety of clients including Pitney Bowes and VoiceStream. Most recently, she led the technology division of the Grey Advertising’s GCI Group.
