Promising to “fill the service gap left by traditional and interactive
agencies” Kathy Sharpe, a former director of interactive marketing at DDB
Needham, has launched Sharpe Partners in New York City.

As interactive consultants, Sharpe Partners said it is structured to help
clients figure out their Internet goals, or knowing those goals, help them
use their Web assets to meet their goals and help make the company’s Internet
play profitable.

“Marketers are inheriting a diverse range of online assets: corporate and /or
product sites, customer service links, e-commerce capabilities, etc. and are
charged with not only figuring out how to integrate their electronic assets
into their off-line programs, but also how to deploy online advertising,
marketing, and PR banners into rapidly changing technology structures,”
Sharpe said.

“The process of keeping current with technology changes and learning how to
implement cost-effective, income-producing Web programs puts enormous time
pressure on marketers adding to a sense that they are out of their depth. b
