White and yellow pages directory service Switchboard said it signed sitewide,
category-exclusive sponsorship deals with four Disney Internet sites,
including ESPN Sportszone (sports), ABC News.com (news), ABC.com (entertainment), and Disney.com (kids).

These sites will be promoted on all pages on the Switchboard site. Financial
terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Our agreement with these important Disney Internet properties is a critical
milestone in building our list of major advertisers and sponsors like Barnes &
Noble and CDnow,” said Douglas A. McIntyre, president of Switchboard.

The Switchboard directory service, based in Westboro, MA, is a majority-held
subsidiary of Banyan Systems Inc. It claims 40 million searches each month.
