Free-PC Adds 30 New Advertisers

Permission-based, one-to-one targeted marketing network Free-PC Inc. said it has
added more than 30 new companies that will be delivering advertising and
other marketing messages to consumers on their Free-PC desktops.

The company also recently opened new offices in San Francisco and New York.
As part of the Free-PC Network, these new advertisers and marketing partners
will reach Free-PC users via proprietary software that resides on the
consumers’ desktops. This Resource Center provides marketing opportunities
for rotating targeted banner advertising and fixed direct access buttons that
are anchored in place and cannot be scrolled away, unlike traditional Web
advertising.

Among the new advertisers are: AutoTrader, CheapTickets, Drugstore.com,
Expedia, Fragrancenet.com, HomePage.com, Infiniti, NextCard, OfficeMax,
PetsMart, Shopping.com and Tower Records.

Free-PC pioneered the model of delivering free personal computers, Internet
access and e-mail to consumers in return for detailed information profiles
and the ability to target advertising messages to them.
