Futurestep Takes Recruitment Nationwide

Oct 21, 1998

Futurestep, an executive recruitment service based in Los Angeles that
registers candidates online, expanded its services to candidates and
employers nationwide after a successful three-month trial in LA.

The company initiated a multimillion
dollar national print and radio advertising campaign aimed at attracting
potential candidates in major cities including New York, Philadelphia, San
Francisco, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. The campaign already has
prompted more than 130,000 candidates to register at the site, the company
said.

Futurestep registers potential candidates online at futurestep.com, using a
series of questionnaires that assess each individual’s organizational
preferences and work style, as well as professional business qualifications
and
experience. There is no charge to applicants.

Futurestep is an independent subsidiary of Korn/Ferry International, but the
service may be retained by any business in addition to Korn/Ferry’s client
base.

Within 24 hours of completing the questionnaires, candidates can log onto
their personal homepage at Futurestep and retrieve career feedback, including
potential market value. Candidates then become eligible for positions listed
exclusively with Futurestep.
