Norfolk, VA-based Trader Online signed an advertising
agreement with General Motors designed to aid GM dealers in marketing the GM
Certified Used Vehicle brand.

Visitors to both Auto Trader Online
and Pickup Trader
Online
will now have the option to search only for GM Certified Used
Vehicles. These cars and trucks are available at select General Motors
Dealerships across the country. Consumers can locate a participating dealer
by visiting www.gmcertified.com. Financial
arrangements were not disclosed.

When a Trader Online visitor clicks on the GM Certified emblem, he or she is
able to search the entire GM Certified Used Vehicle database, exclusive of
other manufacturer’s certified pre-owned vehicles.

“We’re doubling our storefront” said Bill Bleau, Advertising and Marketing
manager for the GM Certified Used Vehicle brand. “GM sees real value in
having its inventory reside in two distinct places–on www.gmcertified.com
and on Trader Online. . .”

All GM Certified Vehicles are less than four model years old with a maximum
of 60,000 miles. Each vehicle meets strict mechanical and appearance
standards. The GM Certification process has 110 different steps. A vehicle
completing this process has a GM-backed limited warranty, No-Hassle Market-
Based Pricing, and 24-hour roadside assistance.

Auto Trader Online is a unit of Trader Publishing Co., which produces 335
print magazines, promoting the Web site to more than 4 million weekly
readers.
